The summer after my freshman year, I worked in the AMBER Lab at Caltech under Professor Aaron Ames. My project focused on developing and prototyping an ankle exoskeleton for assisted walking.
The final design of the ankle exoskeleton, as rendered in CAD. Our design featured a single motor paired with two spools to hold the wire interfacing with the ankle joint, as well as a pressure sensor paired with an Arduino.
